Financial Assistance & Payment Options
Out-of-pocket Payments:
- Payments will be made online via QuickBooks
- Invoices are emailed on the 15th of each month and due no later than the 1st of each month. Payments received after the 10th of the month will incur a $25 late fee.
- Families who enroll in autodrafts for invoices will receive a 10% discount on tuition
Opportunity Scholarship Program:
- Created by the North Carolina General Assembly in 2013. Scholarships are awarded based on a family’s household income and can be used to pay the required tuition and fees to attend an eligible private school.
- For NC students entering kindergarten through 12th grade
- Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship:
- At least 5 years old by August 31 or at least 4 years old by April 16 and approved for Kindergarten according to State guidelines
- Lives in North Carolina
- Has not graduated from high school
- Has not enrolled in a post-secondary institution full-time
- Each family must apply online during the open enrollment period which it usually the first week of February through the first week of March
- This money will be paid directly to the school at the beginning of each semester
Educational Student Accounts + :
- Available to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Funds may be used to pay tuition and fees for eligible private schools, and for expenses such as speech therapy, tutoring services, and educational technology.
- Families may choose from a variety of learning environments, including private schools, home schools, or co-enrollment
- Eligibility based on documentation of a disability and other program requirements
- Please note: an eligibility determination issued by a NC public school is required as part of the application process.
- For full or part time students, this money will be paid directly to the school at the beginning of each semester
- For tutoring students, you will receive the invoices each month and will need to log onto your account to initiate the payment process. This process can take up to 2 weeks, so it needs to be submitted by the parents as soon as the invoice is received.

Application and Curriculum Fees
- Application fees are due upon applying for enrollment
- Curriculum fees are due no later than July 1st to ensure ample time for delivery. Paying this fee after July 1st may result in a student’s books and materials not arriving before the first day of school.
